Terms of Service

Last updated [TODO: date]·Governing law: Dubai & the UAE

The terms that govern our documents service. In short: we prepare and manage your POA, a licensed Dubai Notary Public notarizes it, and you appoint the attorney you trust. We are not a law firm and do not give legal advice.

Draft — pending review by a qualified professional. This text is a plain-language placeholder and is not yet legal advice. [TODO: legal review]

01

About these terms

These terms govern your use of this website and the services FastPOA provides. By engaging us or using the site, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

⚠ Confirm:Confirm the registered legal entity name and trade licence number that contracts with the client, and the date these terms take effect.

02

What we are — and what we are not

FastPOA is a specialist documents service. We identify the Power of Attorney you need, prepare and translate it, and manage the process end to end so it is accepted. To be clear about where we sit:

  • We are not a law firm, and we do not provide legal advice or legal opinions.
  • We are not a notary. The notarial act is performed by a licensed Dubai Notary Public partner — the official authority.
  • We are not your attorney or representative. You appoint the attorney you trust; we never act as your representative.

If you need legal advice on the consequences of a document or transaction, you should consult a qualified lawyer.

03

Our service

When you engage us, we typically:

  • Identify the correct type of POA for your matter and draft it in the wording the receiving authority expects.
  • Prepare a certified Arabic translation through Ministry of Justice–registered legal translators.
  • Share the full draft for your review and revise it until you approve — nothing proceeds to notarization until you do.
  • Coordinate notarization with a licensed Dubai Notary Public partner, in person or — where the law permits — by secure video.
  • Where applicable, guide the home-country legalization steps that must happen where you are.

We deliver the prepared, translated and notarized document. The attorney you appoint acts on the transaction itself; we do not carry out the transaction for you.

04

No legal advice or guaranteed outcome

We prepare documents to the standards the relevant authority is understood to require, and we work to get them accepted the first time. We do not, however, guarantee any legal outcome.

Acceptance of a document, the success of a transaction, and the decisions of any authority, bank or court are outside our control. Rules and requirements change and can be applied at the discretion of the receiving party. Information on this site is general and is not legal advice.

⚠ Confirm:Keep this section explicit: no outcome, acceptance or approval guarantee, and no legal advice. Confirm the wording with a qualified professional.

05

Your responsibilities

So we can prepare an accurate document, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete and current information and documents, and tell us promptly if anything changes.
  • Ensure that names, identity documents and matter details match your official records exactly.
  • Choose and appoint your own attorney, and satisfy yourself that you trust them with the authority you grant.
  • Review each draft and confirm it reflects your intentions before it proceeds to notarization.
  • Comply with the applicable laws of your own country and of the UAE.

We are not responsible for delays or rejections that result from inaccurate or incomplete information provided to us, or from circumstances outside our control.

06

Fees, government charges & VAT

We quote transparently and itemise every line before you pay. A quote is made up of three parts:

  • Our service fee — for identifying, preparing, translating and managing your document.
  • Notary and government fees — passed through at cost, listed separately, never blended into our fee.
  • VAT of 5% — applied to our service fee only; government and notary fees sit outside its scope.

Work that must be legalized abroad is quoted case by case, as those fees depend on the country and document. We revise drafts free of charge until you approve; fees for completed and notarized work are non-refundable except where required by law.

⚠ Confirm:Confirm current notary and government fee figures, the VAT treatment, and your refund/cancellation terms before publishing.

07

Notary partner & third parties

Notarization is performed by a licensed Dubai Notary Public partner, and certain steps may involve government authorities, translators, banks or couriers. These parties act under their own rules and obligations.

We coordinate them on your behalf so the process is effortless for you, but we are not responsible for their independent acts, decisions, fees or timelines, which are outside our control.

08

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FastPOA is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, opportunity or transaction, arising from our service or your use of this website.

Where we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount of the service fee you paid us for the matter in question. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under the applicable law.

⚠ Confirm:Have the limitation-of-liability cap and carve-outs reviewed and confirmed by a qualified professional under UAE law.

09

Governing law

These terms, and any matter arising from them or from our service, are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates, and are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.

⚠ Confirm:Confirm the governing-law and jurisdiction clause (Dubai / UAE, and any free-zone court or arbitration preference) with a qualified professional.
