Last updated 30 June 2026·Governing law: Dubai & the UAE
What we collect, why, how we protect it, and the rights you have — in plain language. We collect only what we need to respond to you and to prepare your Power of Attorney.
Who we are
FastPOA is a specialist documents service based in Dubai that prepares and manages Powers of Attorney. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this website or engage us, why we collect it, how we store it, and the rights you have over it.
We are a specialist documents service, not a law firm. The notarial act is performed by a licensed Dubai Notary Public partner, and you appoint the attorney you trust. This policy covers data handled by FastPOA; the notary partner processes the data necessary for the notarial act under its own obligations.
Data we collect
We only collect what we need to respond to you and to prepare your document. Depending on how you use the site and what you ask us to do, this can include:
- Contact details — your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, country, and the message or service type you submit through a form.
- Identity and matter documents — to prepare a POA we typically need identity documents such as a passport or Emirates ID, and matter-specific documents such as a property title deed or company records. These are sensitive, and we collect them only when you engage us and only to the extent needed.
- Quote and estimator inputs — the service type, emirate and other details you provide so we can give you an accurate figure.
- Technical and usage data — collected through analytics where you consent (see below), such as pages viewed, time on page and scroll depth.
How we use your data
We use your data to deliver and improve our service. Specifically, to:
- Respond to your enquiry and provide a quote.
- Identify, prepare and translate the Power of Attorney you need.
- Coordinate notarization with the licensed Dubai Notary Public partner and, where applicable, the related legalization steps.
- Keep you informed about the status, next steps and costs of your matter.
- Meet our legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your identity documents for marketing.
Storage, security & international transfers
We treat your identity documents as confidential. Files and details are transferred and stored securely, and access is limited to the specialist handling your case and the partners necessary to complete it.
Because we operate in the UAE and serve clients abroad, your data may be processed in, or transferred to, the UAE and other jurisdictions. Where we transfer data internationally, we take steps intended to keep it protected to the standard described in this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations. Enquiry and quote data is kept for a limited period; matter and identity documents are retained for the period required after a matter completes, then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable law, you have rights over your personal data. These can include the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete your data where there is no overriding legal reason to keep it.
- Withdraw consent for analytics and tracking at any time, without affecting our ability to deliver a service you have engaged us for.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and request a copy of your data in a portable form.
To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
